The day-to-day of a Claims Adjuster

A claims adjuster is a bit like a detective. After a fire, theft, or other event, the claims adjuster steps in to conduct the investigation. Once the damage estimate is complete, they negotiate the settlement to compensate the client and help him or her return to normal life as quickly as possible. This stimulating and captivating job lets certain professionals work outside the office to investigate the scene of the accident.

It’s very exciting to have your hand in everything and deal with new cases every day. As a claims adjuster, we also handle auto insurance claims and everything related to automobiles such as bodywork, etc. When we have a home insurance claim, we learn a lot about jewlery or plumbing.
